Fits too tight.
This thing fits so tight that you're going to have real difficulty getting it in place where you want it. There are grooves underneath that prevent it from being slid straight over a rail while loosened.
I have also experienced difficulty with getting this riser to attach straight. I find the one sided design makes it very easy for the riser to be crooked.
Maybe I'm just terrible at this.
Must buy
This riser is a must buy, paintball guns have a obvious bullet drop a riser can help greatly. Everything about this riser is quality, it will not break and can even be customized a bit with the useful rails on each side. I use a 30 tac cap on my X7 phenom with this riser I can now see down both sides of my marker.
Good riser
I bought this riser to move my dot sight out of the way of the RipClip hopper on my TM-15, now I can remove the hopper easily without having to remove the sight as well. Additionally, the sight is now a little higher than it was when mounted on the RipClip rail, which makes it even easier to look down the sight with the mask on.
The metal construction makes it a little heavy, but it definitely can take hits without breaking.
Additional side rails allow for more accessories to be installed on it. If not used, they can be removed for cleaner look and to decrease the weight.
The only major issue I had is with having it installed straight. When secured to the gun, the riser was crooked to one side. I had to add some shims under it to level it in the final position.
