Badlands has been carrying Tippmann paintball guns since 1988, when we opened as Canada's first paintball store. Tippmann currently uses two different barrel threads across their line of paintball guns. The "Tippmann 98" thread, is very coarse, and the barrel itself will be approximately one inch in diameter. The "Tippmann A5/X7" thread is finer, and these barrels will be approximately 3/4 inch in diameter. You may find this helpful, if you decide to upgrade to an aftermarket barrel for better performance.
