Thankfully Vegas was hot for the NPPL Super 7 event! Snow was still on the ground in Toronto when I left for what is turning out to be one hell of a great tournament series. The fields were great, the layout was great, and the event ran smoothly. The sun shined all day but it didn't get too hot - nothing like the sweltering heat of the Cup in Orlando.

Dynasty came through again with the first place win in a very tense series of final games against the Naughty Dogs. The Bushwackers took third and the Russian Legion came in 4th in the Pro Division. The field surfaces were hard packed earth, free of stones and debris and proved to be perfect for speedball - lots of traction, good sliding capabilities.

Of course the big excitement in the marker world was the release of the new Angel SPEED. This SPEED takes the Angel in a new direction being the first Angel that can be adjusted down to low pressures! The valve has been seperated from the LPR so volumizers actually work on this new marker. The trigger is highly adjustable and is fast, fast, fast. Many of the pro's took to the field with the new SPEED and loved it. WDP sold out fast and we expect that ours will too. Want more details on the SPEED? Click Here.

Of course no paintball event worth its salt would be complete without its share of beautiful women. Above: Mimi from Toulouse and Charlotte hang out in front of the Angel booth. Right: Trevor is graced by a photo op with Keely.

The thing I love most about teching for WDP is the people I get to spend my time with at the events. All the techs are great guys and when we get together we always have a ton of laughs. The WDP organization is blessed with some of the most friendly and fun loving people in the industry. Above Left: Russ from Xtreme Paintball Supply, Hawaii with Rodney Squires in the background. Above Right: Josh (Yoshi) from AllStar Paintball, Indiana,Trevor from Badlands, and Russ, yet again.

The Miss NPPL contest coincided with the release of the Super 7 Huntington Beach DVD. What a party! Matt the DJ on the tunes (below right), Everlast on the mike (below left) in a live performance and tons of beautful women on and off the stage.

Above Left: Sean from All Star Paintball pimpin' with Charlotte, Mimi and the Angel A.

Right: Sean, Owen, and John Rice, designer of the Angel and the new SPEED.

Left: Ollie and one very large buckle.

Below right: On the way to the Luxor after the Miss NPPL event, 19 of us piled into a van. Don't make me come back there!
