San Diego 2004

San Diego, California, and the last event of the season. The weather was a mixed bag of sunshine and one cold, overcast rainy day. If this is what you call winter in California, I think I can handle it. Pure Promotions did an outstanding job, as usual, in laying out the event with a large set of bleachers on the main field and even a stage for rock banks to play on as part of the Rockmemoto tour. The sun set early so games were played on fields under the lights. Players complained that the lighting was poor in certain parts of the fields but overall things went well.

Thursday night we went to the La Paloma theater in Encinitas to watch the premiere of the Cereal Killerz DVD. Our cab ride was probably one of the best ever thanks to our crazy Russian driver, Sergi, driving us in his brand new Impala.

San Diego was a fun event, and brought the end to another great season of professional paintball. Thanks to my friends at WDP, team Dynasty, Smart Parts, Planet Eclipse, Adrenaline games, Empire, and my fellow Canadians for so many fun times and great memories. See you again next year!
