OPPL Event 4 2005

Badlands started off their OPPL event by flying Davey Williamson of XSV and Kevin "SK" Bredthauer of Dynasty in for the weekend. Andy "AK-47" of Infamous brought fellow teammates Gator and Fatty by our store for a poster signing. Lucky fans were given a rare opportunity to get free posters signed by representatives of all 3 pro teams sponsored by Badlands.

Gator Glaze took to the parking lot and tagged fans' jerseys with the Infamous logo.

The Badlands booth at the OPPL was packed with product and great specials. Our techs Chris, Aaron and Mitch set up shop to support all the players who needed tech help.

The stands where packed with fans watching their teams play on the turf brought up from the NPPL in the US for the event.

Andy's team, Fastrack, took First place the open division. Andy is working hard to raise the level of play in Canada and he fielded a great team for the event, including nine pro players: Andy, Fatty, Gator, and Drew of Infamous, and Tim, Ryan, and Trojan from the All Americans. When he found out Badlands was bringing SK and Davey to the event he added them to the roster as well. Fans and other open class teams were treated to some great games as a result.

The event was a huge success. The OPPL is doing great things to bring tournament paintball to a new level here in Canada. Our thanks to Sean Morris for a job well done.
