Miami Super 7 2003
Miami Super 7, the last event of the year, and the end to a fantastic series. I arrived late Thursday afternoon shortly before a brilliant sunset. The red skies at night promised clear skies for the morrow, which was pretty much the case. Most of the event was plagued by intermittent downpours but the weather remained hot and, wet or not, preferable to the near freezing temperatures back home.
The lovely Charlotte was at the event in the WDP booth, here showing off the newest Angel Beenies.
I had a surprise visit from Jen and Chris from Badlands Vancouver who were there playing with Matt from Ambush Paintball in Surrey.
Nate from Brass Eagle saw his All-Stars come in second place after losing to Dynasty.
The rain came down in buckets on Sunday. Thankfully the ground soaked up the water fast. This was nowhere near as bad as Jersey and the rain did not affect play.

Sunday night was the awards ceremony and players party.

Below Right: The rabid jerk of a doorman constantly telling people to keep off the stairs. This clown had no class and no manners. But his exasperated attempts to do keep people off his precious stairs provided us with endless entertainment. I especially enjoyed blasting his eyes with my flash every chance I got.
Below: South Beach, Miami. With time to kill Monday morning before I flew home I checked out the beach. I wish I had had more time but it won't be long before another tournament season starts and I find myself back to Huntington, Orlando, Chicago, Tampa, etc. Man, life on the professional paintball circuit is rough.
