Denver 2004

The third NPPL event of 2004 took place in Denver. The weather was all over the board, from smokin' hot to cool and overcast with heavy rain. The fields were located on the parking lot beside the Mile High stadium. This choice of site kept the rain from turning the event into a mud pit, but took its toll on the elbows and knees of the players. The hills surrounding the stadium were ideal for spectators and allowed a bird's eye view of a number of fields. All in all the event went well except for the jerks that kept pulling the fire alarms in the hotel. Crazy paintball kids.

Planet eclipse was at the event and was showcasing the new E2 Eclipse Blade frame for the cocker. This new offering features the choice of using a reflective or a break-beam eye, better sealing solenoid, more timing controls, total elimination of bounce, plus much more. Look to see the new E2 and E2 Nexus in Badlands' stores in August, before their release in September.

No NPPL event would be complete without WDP and the Angel Force Master Techs. WDP and Angel Force went large with a massive tech tent complete with VIP area, chrony booth a great view of the JT field. The Angel Fly and the Force Fly continued to rip up the field. We witnessed a number of pros turn in their timmies for a new Fly.
